1/20 Laputa Flaptter

A sweet kit featuring the Flappter, from the Studio Ghibli film "Laputa: Castle in the Sky"! Originally released by Tsukuda Hobby as a kit requiring paint and glue, the parts have since been retooled slightly by Bandai so that they snap together. To make things even easier, the parts are molded in coloured plastic! Pieces for a display stand are included, too. Really well-done figures of Pazu and Sheeta are included as well, but they'll require paint (when they're done, they'll look fantastic mounted in the cockpit!). Water-slide decals for both kids' eyes, and for the skull mark on the front of the Flappter, are included. A colour guide with "swatches" is included, if you want to paint the kit; instructions are all in Japanese but are very well illustrated so language should not be a barrier.
